Mission 

Annual Report

The Raymond John Wean Foundation enhances community well-being and vitality in the Mahoning Valley through grantmaking, convening, advocating, and providing leadership with a focus on economically disadvantaged people and neighborhoods. 

We welcome grant requests from eligible tax-exempt organizations under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) and as public charities under section 509(a) of that code who are providing services benefiting the residents of Mahoning and Trumbull Counties in Ohio.  Within its limited geographic scope, the Foundation currently has the following competitive grantmaking programs:

Early Care & Education, Invest in Quality Grants, Neighborhood Success Grants, Grants Program

The Raymond John Wean Foundation will be hosting

Neighborhood SUCCESS Grants Program Orientation Sessions

There will be four open sessions which will offer identical information; grantseekers are invited to attend whichever session is most convenient.

The sessions are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, July 22, 2008, from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm OR

Tuesday, July 22, 2008, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

at the YWCA of Warren

Wednesday, July 23, 2008, from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm OR

Wednesday, July 23, 2008, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

at the Associated Neighborhood Centers

Grantseeker Workshops

There will be two open sessions which will be offer identical information; grantseekers are invited to attend whichever session is convenient.
