We encourage organizations to pursue all available sources to secure funding to continue their worthwhile endeavors. One source of information to assist grantseekers is the Foundation Center located in Cleveland, Ohio. The Foundation Center offers print and electronic reference resources designed to meet research needs. Of special interest to Ohio nonprofits is the Guide to Ohio Grantmakers, a reference directory that is published by the Foundation Center in cooperation with Ohio Grantmakers Forum and the Ohio Association of Nonprofit Organizations, containing information on over 3,100 Ohio grantmakers and more than 300 funders from outside the state that award grants in Ohio. In addition to the Cleveland Office, the Foundation Center does have Cooperating Collections in public libraries around the state. Locally, The Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County and Kent State University - Trumbull Campus participate as Cooperating Collection public libraries.
